Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. in Red Deer, Alberta, is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to join our manufacturing team. You will organize internal and third-party site audits, manage non-conformances, maintain QMS documentation, and ensure on-time product releases.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multi-task in a collaborative environment. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in QA/QC are preferred; API/steelmaking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years working in quality assurance, quality control, materials/industrial/chemical/quality engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in API 5CT, API 5L, CSA Z245.1, and steelmaking are assets.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; ability to learn other software applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals at various levels within the organization.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, close observation, and concentration skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001-based quality systems.
• Experience writing technical documents and work instructions.
