Job summary

General Sandblasting & Painting (1998) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee quality control across projects.

The role emphasizes ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specs, coordinating with project managers and field teams to drive QA initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in a QA role, AMPP/NACE CIP Level 2 or higher, and strong documentation skills to prepare comprehensive inspection reports and lead audits.

Qualifications

  • ≥5 years in a quality role within a related industry.
  • AMPP/NACE CIP Level 2 or higher (REQUIRED).
  • Strong understanding of coating systems, surface preparation standards, and inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with CSA, NACE, SSPC, AMPP, ASTM, AWWA, and ISO standards.
  • Experience with below-ground coatings and CSA Z245.30 requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead and oversee quality control processes across our operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all work meets industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, maintain quality control procedures & documentation
  • Develop and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Perform inspections of surface preparation and coating applications
  • Ensure compliance with project specs, codes, and industry standards
