Job description

Overview

The Regional Field Quality Coordinator is responsible for independently applying quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) practices across assigned projects. This role ensures adherence to the Project Quality Management Plan, Assessment Plan, KPIs, and all relevant procedures and work instructions throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met during project design, construction, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Management Plans and audit objectives.
  • Monitor and report on all project quality initiatives, ensuring timely resolution of issues and audit deficiencies.
  • Oversee technical processes related to assessing, monitoring, reporting, and implementing project quality during design and execution.
  • Perform and coordinate quality assessments, providing regular reports to Project Execution Teams.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Business Unit personnel to standardize procedures and support project-specific quality documentation.
  • Conduct quality reviews of vendor Material Requisitions, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Inspection Packages.
  • Prepare and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to closure using Enbridge’s Quality Enhancement Reporting tool.
  • Prepare Corrective Action Reports, Preventative Action Reports, and Root Cause Analyses as required.
  • Communicate with engineering consultants, vendors, and construction teams to resolve documentation and quality issues.
  • Review supplier quality documentation for applicability and conformance.
  • Ensure proper control and retention of all project QA/QC records.
  • Create key project documents such as ITPs, pressure test plans, weld and NDE matrices.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of field record turnovers.
  • Facilitate and support redlining and updates to project drawings.
Scope
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of supplier quality management plans, material requisitions, inspection/test plans, and related documentation.
  • Provide quality management expertise and guidance to the project team.
  • Prepare and manage non-conformance documentation and related follow-ups.
  • Assist with supplier documentation readiness and record control.
  • Ensure supplier practices meet Enbridge’s records and quality requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within quality processes.
  • Assist with field turnover documentation and drawing updates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience, OR 7+ years of combined quality, PLM, construction, records, or field operations experience.
  • CWB Level 2 Welding Inspection certification.
  • Applicable Quality Management certifications or coursework.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Relevant construction experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead change.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration and results.
  • NACE/AMPP Level II Coating Inspector Program (CIP) certification.
Working Conditions
  • Expected to work in both office (70%) and field (30%) environments, depending on project requirements.
  • Field visits may require overnight travel and exposure to physical and environmental conditions.
  • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory during field work.

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Salary: $55.00–$65.00 per hour.
