Job summary

Resolute Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Specialist for an on-site role in Mississauga, ON. The candidate will perform sampling, testing coordination, and documentation to support GMP manufacturing activities.

Requirements include a chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences degree and 1–3 years of GMP experience. Training on LIMS and documentation is a plus; accommodation and benefits are provided after probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 1–3 years in GMP manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience with raw-material and packaging-component sampling and lab coordination.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and quality-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in compliance with safe work practices; use PPE; report injuries.
• Perform incoming inspection and sampling of packaging components and raw materials.
• Perform ID testing of raw materials using TruScan.
• Send samples to testing labs; enter samples in LIMS; manage PO for testing.
• Coordinate third-party testing; verify costs with labs.
• Store and destroy retain samples of components, materials, bulk and finished products.
• Sample and release consumable materials.
• Identify efficiency improvements; work to meet project timelines.
• Support other tasks to meet project requirements.

Quality Specialist

Our expertise is in Commissioning & Qualification, Validation, Quality Systems, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and Project Management.

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic professional to join our team as a Quality Specialist in Mississauga,ON (On-site) .

Responsibilities

• Work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; properly use personal protection and safety equipment as required by the client; report any injury or illness immediately; notify the client of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.
  
• Perform incoming inspection and sampling of packaging components and raw materials, including customer-supplied materials.
  
• Perform ID testing of raw materials using TruScan.
  
• Send samples of raw materials, packaging components, bulk and finished products to testing laboratory for analysis against approved specification. Enter samples in LIMS.
  
• Create purchase orders for testing done at third party laboratories. Close purchase order once testing results are received. Follow up and verify costs of testing with testing laboratories where required.
  
• Responsible for proper storage and destruction of packaging component, raw material, bulk products and finished products retain samples.
  
• Perform sampling and release of consumable materials.
  
• Perform responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner. Identify areas where efficiencies can be improved.
  
• Support other tasks assigned to you to meet project requirements.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  
• 1–3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred.
  
• Experience with raw-material and packaging-component sampling, inspection, and laboratory coordination.
  
• Experience with LIMS and documentation is an asset.
  
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and quality-control procedures is required.
  
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and meet timelines are essential.
  

Note

Salary is up to $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
