MT Talent Solutions Inc. is partnering with a client in Canada to recruit a Quality Manager for a full-time, onsite role. The ideal candidate will lead all quality functions, promote a culture of quality, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Required are 5+ years in quality management in heavy industry, ISO 9001 expertise, and strong leadership. Metallurgy knowledge and Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quality management role in heavy industrial setting.
• Knowledge of metallurgy or alloys-based production environments preferred.
• Experience implementing and managing QMS (ISO 9001) required.
• Strong knowledge of QA tools: FMEA, RCA, SPC, CAPA.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software and QA tools.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in hot environments.

Responsabilités

• Direct and plan all Quality functions.
• Promote a Quality-first culture across departments.
• Manage customer scorecard requirements and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee quality metrics costs, suppliers, vendors, and sub-contractors.
• Provide technical support to plant personnel on quality.
• Manage department outputs, staffing, and develop team competency.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and government procedures.
• Prepare and update quality documentation.
