Role description:

Arcadis is looking for a Quality Manager responsible for managing day-to-day QMS activities for their country. This includes all aspects of Arcadis’s quality management system and in-country senior management interaction. The role reports directly to the Global Quality Director and indirectly to the Country Director.

Role accountabilities:
  • Implementing, administering, and monitoring global QMS governance and tools in the country; ensuring requirements are enforced and recording exceptions; providing suggestions for improvements.
  • Meeting resource and training needs of personnel in quality procedures to support the QMS.
Governance:
  • Maintain in-country quality management system.
  • Maintain in-country ISO certification until global accreditation is achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations, legal, and statutory requirements.
Quality processes and procedures:
  • Implement, maintain, and control quality processes and procedures.
  • Support audits and manage non-conformance and corrective actions.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes and evaluate KPIs.
Knowledge and training:
  • Ensure training on QMS for professionals.
  • Communicate and train on changes to the QMS.
  • Maintain the Country QMS site and lessons learned.
Data repository and reporting:
  • Report and trend Quality KPIs and monitor costs to quality.
Compliance:
  • Implement controls and participate in audits.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and serve as the ISO management representative.

The Quality Manager has overall responsibility for compliance with the Global QMS and supports the implementation of the Global IMS.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Management, Quality, or Business preferred.
  • 5-7+ years in quality management within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  • Certifications such as ASQ Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, ISO Quality Auditor, and Project Management Institute membership are preferred.

Further requirements include knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, quality assurance and control techniques, auditing principles, and strong communication and decision-making skills.
