Job summary

Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc, dba Gorbel Canada, is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure incoming materials and in-process items meet specifications. You will read blueprints, operate measurement tools, and report non-conformances to the Quality Manager.

This role supports process improvements, data entry in the ERP system (Syteline), and adherence to ISO 9000 standards. Travel to off-site meetings may be required; safety and housekeeping are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College diploma in a relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years in quality inspector/assurance role preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline) preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 environments preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products against specifications.
• Document non-conformances and communicate them to the Quality Manager.
• Calibrate and maintain measurement equipment and tools.
• Assist with process improvements and ERP data for quality.
• Support safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
