Quality Inspection of Liftking final assemblies and incoming components.

Essential Functions:
  • Inspect all final assemblies.
  • Inspect incoming parts from outside suppliers.
  • Perform testing of all machines
  • Provide technical support for production
  • Perform 1 st article inspections & testing
  • Stay compliant with all regulatory bodies as it applied to the work that is being completed and with all safety rules and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required and directed by management.
Qualifications Guidelines
Experience/Training/Education:

Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to use MS Word, MS Excel and operate office equipment. Know how to read and interpret drawings. Know how to use various measuring devices.

Desired: 1-2 years of verifiable inspection experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Requires knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems; requires an eye for detail. Ability to observe and document processes. Ability to present findings to upper level management and to implementation teams. Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures, and material flow; ability to meet deadlines; to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; ability to accept constructive criticism; ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently; ability to lead, supervise and train others; ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with subordinates, members of management, suppliers, and other employees.

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. Physical and Environmental Elements:

This is a production classification and employees work indoors and outdoors (in all seasons) with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds and pull approximately 20 lbs
