Job summary

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) invites applications for a Quality Improvement Coordinator within the Practice Enhancement Program (PEP). This full-time position leads quality improvement projects, standardizes processes and supports evidence-based healthcare improvements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in adult education, health care or related field with 3 years' health-care experience.
• One year of data analysis, research and evaluation preferred.
• Strong technical and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and competent in Adobe.
• Experience with SPSS is an asset.
• Ability to learn and manage internal software solutions.
• Ability to prepare accurate data and reports efficiently.
• Experience with project management and quality improvement methods.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills; manage multiple streams of work to deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills; proactive in collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration of self-directed assessments and ensure timely completion.
• Establish and maintain relationships with program staff and external partners.
• Prepare materials for presentations, workshops, training sessions and program reporting.
• Record accurate data of assessment actions in relevant databases.
• Develop and maintain website material, SharePoint sites and shared drives.
• Develop processes, procedures and reports; respond to inquiries promptly.
• Promote teamwork and timely information sharing among staff.
• Coordinate collection, measurement and reporting of KPIs and process indicators.
• Support project leads in quality improvement projects and initiatives.
• Provide data, findings or study documents related to assessment and improvement.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Update and implement new processes and quality systems for consistency.
• Support program evaluation activities and knowledge sharing.
• Develop metadata and maintain program databases.
• Conduct research related to physician assessment and quality improvement.
• Provide administrative support: filing, updating documents, scheduling meetings.
• Serve as IT contact for Cedar, iMIS, DocuStation.
