Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a QFS Coordinator to support quality and food safety initiatives on site. You will indirectly lead a small team of hourly employees, drive capability development, and ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

In this role you will partner with the Quality & Food Safety department to implement policies, train staff, and collaborate across functions to resolve operational issues while contributing to the company’s sustainability goals and positive impact in the community.

Overview

In this role you will report to the Quality & Food Safety department where you will be involved in supporting multiple quality and food safety related initiatives throughout the site. You will indirectly lead a small team of hourly employees to develop their capability and drive results.

Total Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000

Responsibilities

Specifically, the QFS Coordinator’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preventive control ownership on shift
• Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to assist the team in solving operational problems
• Ensure a safe work environment for our teams
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory food safety standards
• Facilitate the implementation and compliance of policies and programs as they pertain to quality & food safety
• Facilitate training and capability development on shift

Qualifications

• Graduated with a relevant degree or post-secondary designation preferred or equivalent work experience
• Strong interest in quality & food safety
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ideal candidates will have the willingness and flexibility to perform tasks as needed in support of the team’s business needs. Primary duties may change as Food Safety requirements change.
