Job summary

Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) is seeking a Quality MLT I to support our Quality Management System and drive continual improvement. The role involves processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples in a hybrid work setting with 1–3 days on site per week in Calgary.

Reporting to the Quality Lead, you must have an accredited MLT program, be eligible for CMLTA registration, and have 3+ years of MLT experience with evidence in document development and revision.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as an MLT, within the last five years.
• Minimum one (1) year experience with document development and revision within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples.
• Perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.
