Goudreau Personnel by Swinton Ltd. is seeking a Quality Engineer in Windsor, ON. The role focuses on leading plant-wide quality improvements and supervising the PPAP process to meet customer and plant requirements.

You will collaborate with employees, suppliers and customers to produce quality products, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous quality improvement while ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF standards and government regulations.

Formación

• Certified Quality Engineer Certificate required.
• Minimum three (3) years of quality experience.
• Strong PPAP experience.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools: 8D, 5 Why and Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, stamping tools and designs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with database apps and MS Office; experience with statistical software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• GDT/Blueprint reading and engineering specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Handle customer issues; ensure testing requirements are met.
• Oversee PPAP process with suppliers and testing requirements.
• Ensure production meets specifications.
• Maintain calibration records; ensure gauges/equipment are calibrated on time.
• Provide on-site support to customers/suppliers as needed.
• Support prototype builds and document per prototype checklist inspection process.
• Collect SPC data and report monthly; work with manufacturing on process improvements.
• Assist in development of job instructions and procedures.
• Document all activities; ensure compliance with guidelines, union contracts, ISO/IATF standards and regulations.
• Define and monitor Customer indicators; report to management.
• Dispositions non-conforming material with proper containment and follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
• Advise on improvements in tracking and reporting procedures.
