Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in engineering.
3-5 years manufacturing or QA engineering experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

Advocate for safety and ensure all safety procedures comply with provincial standards.
Calibrate internal gauges per Polycorp procedures.
Review calibration methods and create WI for new gauges.
Identify new gauges and suppliers based on product needs.
Assist with NCRs after non-conformances are identified.
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain and design to build quality into products.
Lead internal 8D investigations as assigned.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve reliability.
Monitor scrap, rework, customer complaints and Cost of Poor Quality.
Develop and maintain ISO 9001 quality systems and work instructions.
