Job summary

StackAdapt is hiring a Quality Engineer focused on software quality and test automation. You will develop automated and functional test scripts for functional, system, API, integration, UI, and regression testing; collaborating with Platform, Product, and DevOps teams to deploy and run automated tests in CI/CD environments.

You will provide test result feedback, participate in technical planning and code reviews, and contribute to scalable web API and backend system testing in a remote-first

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience with frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or JUnit.
• Fluency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design for web APIs and backend systems.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Experience writing comprehensive test cases.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

The role is full-time, remote-first, open to candidates anywhere in Canada. Salary range is $84,000 to $115,500 CAD base.
