Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Selenium or Cypress, and a strong CI/CD background. We value strong communication and independence in a fast-growing environment.

We are looking for Automation Test Lead to join our growing team in Canada

Location: Remote - Canada

Job description:

We are looking for Playwright experience with any language (TS/JS/Java/Python).

Must haves

• 1. Strong champion of Quality Engineering and Automation principles, with the ability to independently partner with Product Owners, Product Development teams, and Scrum teams to gather requirements and define a holistic QA roadmap.
• 2. Technical expertise in automation tools and framework development/standards, with hands‑on experience in Playwright + TypeScript, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools. Candidates should be willing to learn Playwright if not already experienced.
• 3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to prioritize QA tasks, remove blockers, provide regular progress updates to the iCapital manager, and maintain required documentation and artifacts.
• 4. Experience setting up, running, and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• 5. Hands‑on experience with keyword‑driven, data‑driven, hybrid, and BDD frameworks.
• 6. Proven ability to hit the ground running, work independently, and mentor team members to achieve QA objectives.
• 7. Experience leading automation teams and providing QA consulting.
