Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking an inspector to visually and dimensionally assess raw materials and finished products in Vaughan, Canada. You will use calipers, gauges and measuring tools to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, reading English instructions, and basic math. You will document results, maintain tool calibrations, and support shipping reconciliations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English, proficient in technical communication, and basic math.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings.
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds.
• Basic proficiency with measuring instruments for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and finished products visually and dimensionally using gauges and calipers.
• Segregate non-conforming product or material.
• Review material test reports and certificates against specs.
• Maintain calibration records for measuring tools.
• Complete documentation and data entry for work performed.
• Reconcile outgoing shipments as required.
