Position Overview:

DCP is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Lab Assistant to join our factory team in Erbil. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting material tests, ensuring product compliance, and supporting QC operations in our construction materials production line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine physical and chemical tests on raw materials and finished products (e.g., cement, aggregates, adhesives).
• Document test results and maintain accurate QC records/reports.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment (pH meters, sieves, compression testers, etc.).
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to material quality.
• Follow ISO/ASTM standards for testing procedures.
• Report deviations from quality specifications to the QC Manager.

Mandatory Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemical Science, or related field (Chemical Engineers will not be considered).

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a QC lab (construction materials, manufacturing, or related industry).

Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Residency: Must reside in Erbil (proof of address required).

Testing: Candidates will undergo a practical lab test before hiring.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with construction materials testing (e.g., slump tests, compressive strength, particle size analysis).
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel for data reporting).
