What Is The Opportunity?

The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated joint venture of Aecon and AtkinsRealis located in Kincardine, Ontario. The MCR program replaces the main components of six reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station, including the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders, as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, allowing CANDU units to operate safely through the year 2064. The Quality Administrator reports to the Quality Manager and provides administrative support to the Quality department.

Responsibilities

• Data entry into the internally developed tracking system – ICMS.
• Copying, filing, scanning and organizing essential Quality documents, including:
  • NDE Reports
  • PWHT Reports
  • Welding Procedures
  • Weld Maps
  • As‑Built drawings
• Creation of accurate as‑built drawings and P&ID mark‑ups.
• Coordination of NDE activities.
• Maintenance of common logs (Calibration, NCR, NDE certifications, etc.).
• Compilation of essential Quality documents to form the final Manufacturer’s Record Book.
• Final review of Weld Maps and Spool/Drawing History for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

• Construction industry knowledge and experience is an asset.
• Experience in an administrative or coordination role in the quality field.
• Strong organizational and reading skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding and interpreting information accurately.
• Ability to follow correct procedures.
• Skill in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, as required.

Salary

Salary range: $50,000‑$65,000. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as location, education, experience, skills and job conditions.
