Wieland is hiring a Quality Auditor. The role involves ensuring all received material is suitable for inventory and that processed material meets customer requirements, maintaining high quality standards and regulatory compliance.

This position is located in Ontario, CA and is fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $24/hr

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect physical attributes of incoming products for compliance using measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Perform inspections and audits on outgoing products to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
  • Manage physical movement of materials to and from quality hold areas.
  • Coordinate calibration activities and maintain calibration logs.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and quality data.
  • Identify inspection risks and report recurring issues to management.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting quality levels, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
  • Engage actively in continual improvement processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school or trade school diploma.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and measuring tools preferred.
  • Strong math skills for conversions and calculations.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Desire for professional development and certifications like Six Sigma, CCT, or CQI.
