Thermon in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to coordinate and support QA activities, including inspection test plan prep, review of material test reports, and inspections across production stages.

Reporting to the QA Supervisor, you will prepare test data, draft reports, ensure compliance with standards, and travel infrequently to other facilities or client sites (<5%). The role requires post-secondary education and at least 2 years in manufacturing with experience in pressure vessels and calibrated gauges.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education; QA experience is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing; pressure vessel experience is an asset.
• Experience with inspection tools such as calibrated gauges.

Overview

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor (QAS), this position is responsible for the coordination and support of Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including preparation of inspection test plan, review of material test reports, performing inspections, preparing test reports, and other Quality Assurance activities as needed. This position requires infrequent travel to other company facilities or client site (less than 5% travel).

Must Have Qualifications

• Post-secondary education. Relevant experience in QA role is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in manufacturing environment. Experience is pressure vessel and equipment is an asset.
• General knowledge and experience working with inspection tools such as calibrated gauges.
