Job summary

Thermon in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to coordinate and support QA activities, including inspection test plan prep, review of material test reports, and inspections across production stages.

Reporting to the QA Supervisor, you will prepare test data, draft reports, ensure compliance with standards, and travel infrequently to other facilities or client sites (<5%). The role requires post-secondary education and at least 2 years in manufacturing with experience in pressure vessels and calibrated gauges.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education; QA experience is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing; pressure vessel experience is an asset.
• Experience with inspection tools such as calibrated gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections across all stages of production as instructed by Quality Assurance Supervisor.
• Prepare quality documents such as Inspection Test Plan, data report, and inspection test reports.
• Prepare and maintain test data for review.
• Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
• Report quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
• Safety - Ensure a safe workplace, including compliance with established safety laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.
