Job Title: Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist (French & English)

We are currently seeking a qualified Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist (French & English) to join our team.

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Schedule: HYBRID (2 days in office)

Description

The Quality Assurance Group develops and maintains a world-class Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure customer deliverables meet compliance standards and promote continuous improvement. As a Hardware Quality Assurance Specialist, your role will be to ensure that quality standards are upheld, company norms are maintained, and product integrity is preserved for hardware used in flight training devices.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance and effectiveness of the manufacturing process, including inspections and validation throughout the full manufacturing cycle.
  2. Plan, conduct, report, and communicate audit findings; issue corrective actions as needed, focusing on internal processes and external supplier processes.
  3. Develop inspection and testing standards based on a quality plan, oversee inspection processes, and manage non-conformities.
  4. Maintain manufacturing compliance by reviewing, assigning responsibility, and determining material disposition of non-conformities; lead investigations for hardware issues; update standards; and implement quality clinics.
  5. Lead MRB (Material Review Board) meetings and provide recommendations.
  6. Conduct quality audits in production areas.
  7. Validate manufacturing processes and qualification techniques.
  8. Implement measures to drive continuous improvement projects.
  9. Analyze data to identify recurring issues, organize process improvement workshops, and utilize problem-solving tools.
Basic Qualifications
  1. College diploma (D.E.C.) in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent technical training and experience.
  2. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Experience with internal and external (supplier) audits.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management principles.
  5. Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to mechanical or electrical products.
  6. Bilingual in French and English.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
