Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and food safety initiatives.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits of incoming products, storage conditions, and handling processes.
  • Maintain and update quality control documentation, and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including CFIA, FDA, and other applicable food safety standards.
  • Investigate and document customer complaints, non-conformances, and deviations from quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and execution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct training sessions for warehouse and production teams on quality and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure ingredient and packaging compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and corrective actions as needed.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, CFIA, FDA).
  • Experience with quality management systems and audit preparation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Documents)
