QA/QC Tech Senior
This position can be based out of Tillsonburg, ON.
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Tech Senior to join our team. As a Quality Assurance and Control Technician Senior, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities & Duties
- Conducting routine and non-routine analysis of in-process product, raw materials, finished products.
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and ensuring the laboratory is clean and organized
- Interpreting, analyzing, and communicating results to relevant departments
- Following standard operating procedures and good laboratory practices
- Participating in internal and external audits, and maintaining a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements
- Generating and updating standard operating procedures and test methods
- Troubleshooting laboratory issues and recommending solutions
- Providing support to other team members as needed
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all testing performed
- Infrequent travel to other locations
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years experience in testing plastic material for pipe production facilities.
- Minimum 2 years degree in Chemistry, polymer, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality control charts.
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Lab Technician
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software
