The Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality of our software products and solutions, including System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other activities. The role involves project management responsibilities as needed to ensure quality in production releases. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is based in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Perform various testing types including regression, functional, and performance testing.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before release.
• Analyze test results and report findings.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements and potential issues.
• Improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Review specifications to understand deliverables.
• Adhere to QA standards and provide progress and technical reports.
• Execute manual and automated tests, report results.
• Communicate defects professionally and assist in reproducing issues.
• Work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct API testing for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify improvements.
• Work efficiently considering the business's time-sensitive nature.
• Thoroughly test systems using varied scenarios.

What You’ll Need

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing strategies, tools, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with database testing in MySQL.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and test automation.
• Quick learner, able to work with minimal guidance.
• Experience testing web services (REST, SOAP, JSON).
• Performance testing experience is a plus.
• Experience with Mobile Testing.
• Self-motivated, flexible, creative problem solver.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Understanding of the travel industry is a plus.
