Position Summary

Enterprise Systems is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst for our Business Application Quality team. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for executing quality assurance testing, ensuring that system change delivery meets product requirements and quality standards.

This is an opportunity to build partnerships across all departments at HomeEquity Bank by acting as a subject matter expert in how to ensure the bank's core systems for lead management, mortgage origination and mortgage servicing exceed reliability, performance, and compliance standards.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand the expected outcomes and acceptance criteria of system change requests.
  • Collaborate within the delivery team to understand the technical solution of system change requests.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to cover system changes and their role in business processes.
  • Execute quality assurance testing during delivery sprints based on sprint priorities.
  • Ensure execution of test plans is accurately captured to enable timely reporting on coverage, bugs, and completion status within a delivery sprint.
  • Ensure bugs are accurately classified and replication steps are documented to ensure resolution of issues found during delivery.
  • Provide post-implementation testing and verification recommendations to confirm successful implementation of system changes.
  • Develop automated testing to cover regression, recurring and complex test scenarios.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a technology or business support field
  • Proven experience in test planning, test design, and functional test execution
  • Familiarity of testing frameworks and strategies in agile delivery
  • Familiarity with exploratory, integration, E2E, performance and smoke testing
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand and test technology changes
  • Experience working with Selenium, Postman, SQL Server, and Salesforce would be considered an asset
