We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst based at our Mississauga office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for new and existing features.
  2. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, manual, and user acceptance testing.
  3. Design and execute test cases to validate access control systems, including RBAC, ABAC, and other authorization mechanisms.
  4. Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  5. Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability.
  6. Participate in all SDLC phases from requirements gathering to deployment.
  7. Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and others.
  8. Analyze test results, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
  9. Contribute to continuous QA process improvements.
  10. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Access Control concepts: authentication, authorization, SSO, identity management.
  • Hands-on experience with physical devices, from prototypes to final products.
  • 5+ years in QA or Software Testing.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience testing access control in web apps, APIs, databases.
  • Design and execute test cases for access control scenarios.
  • Security testing knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, GitHub, Confluence, MIRO.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Competencies:
  • Experience with cloud, mobile, embedded systems, and Access Control Systems.
  • Knowledge of security standards and regulations.
  • Experience in a global company environment.
  • Experience working with physical devices.
