We’re currently seeking a **Quality Assurance Analyst** to be based at our Mississauga, Ontario office.**Key Responsibilities:**· Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.· Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, manual, and user acceptance testing.· Specifically, design and execute test cases to rigorously validate access control systems, including role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and other authorization mechanisms.· Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.· Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability.· Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.· Automate test cases using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Protractor, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, SoapUI, SauceLabs, JMeter, Postman, Rest Assure, WebDriverIO, Zephyr.· Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.· Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.· Stay up-to-date with industry’s best practices and emerging technologies in QA and access control.**Qualifications:**· Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with Access Control concepts, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), and identity management.· Demonstrated hands-on experience with physical devices, spanning early adoption prototypes to final products.· 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.· Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.· Experience with testing access control implementations in various systems (e.g., web applications, APIs, databases).· Proficiency in designing and executing test cases specifically for access control scenarios (e.g., verifying user permissions, role changes, privilege escalation attempts).· Familiarity with security testing principles is a plus.· Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, GitHub, Confluence, MIRO etc.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.**Key Competencies:*** Experience with cloud platforms, mobile applications, embedded systems, Access Control Systems.* Knowledge of security standards and regulations.* Experience working in a global company.* Experience working with Physical Devices.**Our Benefits*** Employer-paid Benefit plan* Competitive Retirement plan* Ongoing training and development* Supportive team environment* A stable and growing industry!*ASSA ABLOY welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
