An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Quality and Environmental Manager to enhance their Quality/Business Management System. This role involves developing and implementing ISO-compliant management systems, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations. What is the role?
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality/Business Management System in accordance with Vinci’s TWWW (The Way We Work) and company objectives.
Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of the ISO9001:2015, ISO45011:2018, and ISO14001:2015 compliant management systems.
Develop and implement an annual Quality Roadmap which drives continual improvement.
Coordinate the development and monitoring of Annual Strategic Objectives and business unit specific Strategic Business Plans and Roadmaps.
Coordinate and conduct corporate Management Review Meetings.
Organize and/or conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure compliance with quality regulations.
Monitor nonconformances, opportunities for improvement, corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor supplier, subcontractor and stakeholder evaluations.
Review and develop site-specific quality procedures and work instructions.
Lead investigations of quality-related incidents and ensure appropriate corrective measures are in place.
Oversee the training/onboarding development for employees to ensure compliance of quality standards, best practices, and process improvements.
Maintain quality documentation, certifications, and performance records.
Develop, implement, and oversee the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015, company goals & environmental regulations.
Maintain and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual environment and sustainability statistics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement an annual Environmental Roadmap which drives continual improvement.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and aspect/impact assessments to identify and mitigate environmental risks.
Ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and corporate sustainability initiatives.
Oversee the scheduling, organization, and implementation of environmental training, annual Vinci Environment Day(s) and other environmental initiatives.
Develop and promote environmental awareness programs for employees.
Coordinate and conduct corporate EEI (Energy Environment & Innovation) meetings.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors on environmental compliance matters.
Liaise with Vinci Construction Zone Q&E representatives.
Maintain environmental reports, records, and prequalification documents.
What do we value?
Strong knowledge of Quality and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience conducting audits and managing compliance programs.
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ISO Lead Auditor or similar accreditation.
Environmental certification (e.g., EP, ECO Canada, or similar).
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries.
Occupational Health & Safety experience is an asset.
