Job summary

Héroux-Devtek in Longueuil, QC, offers a student internship in industrial engineering focused on quality metrics governance and continuous improvement in plating and machining. You will lead weekly and daily quality review meetings, maintain data for non-quality, and guide improvement projects with support from the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead a weekly meeting on quality metrics governance for plating and machining.
• Prepare and lead two daily meetings on reviewing quality issues in production.
• Maintain a production database on non-quality.
• Analyze production data to guide improvement projects in plating and machining.
• Support any continuous improvement project as needed.
• Autonomy in managing major continuous improvement projects and related work.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and lead two daily meetings on reviewing quality issues in production (plating and machining)
• Maintain a production database on non-quality
• Analyze production data to guide improvement projects in the plating and machining departments
• Support any continuous improvement project as needed

The student will have autonomy in managing the major continuous improvement project and will also be involved in several other related projects.
