TEEMA is seeking a SHEQ Coordinator to join our Western Canada team, based at a client site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This full-time role offers a 48-hour work week, with a company vehicle on site and comprehensive health and wellness benefits.

You will drive a strong safety culture, ensuring incidents are investigated and safety policies are updated, while collaborating with clients and suppliers to maintain compliance with provincial OH&S standards.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role.
  • NCSO/OHS Certification or actively pursuing certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta OH&S legislation.
  • ISO 9001 familiarity an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Field experience required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Customer-focused, solution-driven, and committed to zero workplace accidents.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting adherence to company safety policies on and off site.
  • Supporting workplace inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensuring processes, procedures, and forms are clear, compliant, and understood by all employees.
  • Reporting observations and recommending improvements to the SHEQ Manager.
  • Investigating workplace incidents and accidents, and reporting findings.
  • Representing the company in client safety meetings.
  • Evaluating and refining safety policies and safe-work plans.
  • Keeping stakeholders informed on safety policy updates.
  • Monitoring compliance with provincial OH&S regulations.

Our client islooking for a SHEQ Coordinator to join theirWestern Canada team. Based at a client site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, this full-time position works a 48-hour work week and reports to the VP – Western Canada. A company vehicle is provided on site. As SHEQ Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind a strong safety culture — ensuring our people, clients, and suppliers work safely, consistently, and in line with our global Health & Safety standards.

What you will be doing:
