Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a senior QA engineer to drive API quality across complex banking and payments systems.

The role involves building automated API tests, integrating with CI, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust RESTful services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ready API, Java, Groovy, Selenium, Jenkins, Katalon, and related QA tools in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Senior years of experience in QE testing.
• Strong API testing experience with Ready API.
• Develop automated tests for CI integration.
• Integrate tests with various tools.
• Experience with Ready API, Git, Java, Groovy, Selenium, Jenkins, SQL Developer, JIRA, Confluence.
• QA testing of RESTful API (JSON).
• Front-end testing with Katalon.
• Understand specs, write and execute test plans.
• Knowledge of QA processes.
• Experience in Agile environment.
• Domain knowledge in Banking and Payments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated API test scripts for CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and enhance test suites for RESTful services and front-end components.
• Analyze failures and provide actionable defect reports.

Job Description :-

• Overall, senior years of experience in QE testing.
• Good years of experience in API testing (Ready API)
• Develop automated tests to be used as part of Continuous Integration Framework.
• Ability to integrate tests with different tools.
• Experience using software API testing tools and programming languages such as Ready API (SoapUI Pro), Git, Java, Groovy Script, Selenium, Jenkins, SQL Developer, JIRA and Confluence,
• Responsible for QA testing of RESTful API(JSON).
• Good experience of front-end testing using Katalon
• Strong understanding of application specifications, writing test plans and executing them.
• Good knowledge of Quality assurance processes.
• Work experience in Agile environment.
• Domain knowledge and work experience in Banking and Payments processes.
• API Testing using readyAPIFront end testing using KatalonFunctional testing

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
