  • Rotating Day Shift (continental)
  • Monday to Thursday Nightshift
  • Weekend Nightshift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Overview

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for examining products to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met, aligning with legislation and customer specifications. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to quality assurance policies, and the ability to identify defects or errors to prevent defective materials from entering the supply chain. The QC Document Control Clerk manages documentation and OPL creation.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain QA/QC control documentation
  • Organize inspection documentation and online photos
  • Perform daily inspection of in-process units, ensuring quality and completeness
  • Inspect production paperwork and report deficiencies
  • Conduct sub-assembly inspections (motors, coils, evaporators, furnaces, paint)
  • Complete final unit inspections and review inspection documents
  • Assemble unit packages
  • Report safety issues to the Safety Coach or Coordinator
  • Assist in educating other inspectors and production team members
  • Inspect drawings and markings for accuracy
  • Assist with engineering changes and submit corrections
  • Document discrepancies throughout the inspection process
  • Ensure all duties comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Perform other duties as required

  • Operate required equipment safely and responsibly

  • Strong attention to detail for defect identification
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools in assembly processes
  • Ability to work independently and follow schedules
  • Understanding of workplace safety and safe lifting procedures
  • Ability to lift and move equipment over 40 pounds
  • Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math
  • Blueprint reading skills are an asset
Working Conditions
