Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Langbank, SK is seeking a QAQC Electrician to join our team. The role focuses on testing and documenting equipment on commercial and industrial projects. A certified Electrical Journeyperson is required and safety on a fast-paced site is essential.

The successful candidate will perform field checks, manage QA/QC documentation, and support turnover packages. Read blueprints and P&IDs, apply electrical codes, and guide field crews to meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrical Journeyperson (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum one year QA/QC experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs, and understand installation sequences.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to instruct and supervise field crews.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the QC documentation is completed for turnover package as required by the client.
• Perform field checks and inspections; ensure QA/QC program on site follows the ITP for the project.
• Serve as a resource to Superintendents and construction teams to ensure installations meet codes and contract specs.
• Update QA/QC database for turnover to client and PTW offices.
• Ensure red line drawings are completed to client specs and filed with document control.
• Instruct construction field QC personnel and generate inspection packages for field crews.
