Reporting directly to the Director of QA and Certification, the QA Testing Automation Specialist's primary responsibilities are to build up and maintain the QA automation testing framework, develop and execute comprehensive automation test plans, develop and perform automation test cases, and provide training to and work with other QA team members to maintain the NRT products' quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain QA automation testing framework.
• Develop automation testing strategies and test plans based on NRT product lines.
• Provide training and support to other QA team members on automation testing.
• Implement and improve automation testing, ensuring the automation testing adheres to best practices.
• Work closely with different QA team members to create, maintain, and execute automation test scripts, expand testing coverage, and speed up product releases.
• Monitor, track, and report automation testing progress, and communicate testing results to the stakeholders.
• Strive for continuous improvement, drive quality initiatives, and challenge established patterns.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with automation testing framework/application – Selenium (preferred)
• Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools
• Experience with software development life cycle tools/methodologies like Jira, Scrum
• Experience with finding the root cause of defects in a complex environment
• Demonstrated experience of testing automation across multiple platforms/technologies
• Demonstrated experience utilizing high-quality automation to solve test problems, and hands-on issues/defects management skills
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and/or with other teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience of automation testing tools (Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.)
• Expertise in at least one programming language for automation (Python, Java, etc.)
• Working experience on Git, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, PowerShell, SQL, etc.
• DevOps experience is considered an asset (Azure is a plus!)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
