Qualifications

• Hands-on Databricks testing experience with Python/PySpark.
• Strong SQL testing and data validation experience.
• Experience testing Azure Data Services.

• CI/CD testing experience.
• Experience validating batch and incremental data loads.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse and analytics testing methodologies.

About Us

Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a QA Tester for a contract opportunity. This role will provide expertise in developing and executing test strategies for large-scale data warehouse and analytics modernization programs, including Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Services. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in office in Toronto, Mississauga, or Guelph.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester to support test strategy development and execution for large-scale data warehouse and analytics modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong experience testing modern data platforms, including Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and SQL.

The role is hybrid, with a requirement to work in the office 2 days per week in Toronto, Mississauga, or Guelph.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for large-scale data warehouse and analytics modernization programs

Compensation

Salary Range: $55.00 - $65.00 / hour
