Job description

Position Scope

We are seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of QA Technologist. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering background, an excellent personality, superior communication skills, and open-mindedness to new ideas and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement control panel quality standards.
2. Verify all important documents, such as schematics, instructions, layouts, drawings, piping, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
3. Test and simulate control system hardware and software, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and servo systems, to identify and resolve technical and process-related issues.
4. Create an inventory of failure types and develop a detailed checklist to assess control panel performance.
5. Perform control panel UL, CSA, and EU inspections and prepare FAT documents.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Abilities

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.
