Story Behind the Need:

• Business group: HR Technology; Global Enterprise Technology Quality Assurance
• Project: Objective of GHRT QAT is to ensure that HR software meets the functional requirements specified in the technical design document, to identify and fix defects as well to perform regression testing to ensure the software has not broken functionality that was not directly changed. Primary focus is to deliver high quality services and support, with velocity and efficiency within project timelines and on budget.

Typical Day in Role:

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Prepare, coordinate and execute test cases for HR Application system/integrations changes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/functions consistent with the business needs and priorities of Global HR. Troubleshoot when problems arise and contribute to their resolution in a hands-on manner when necessary.
• Assesses QAT results and takes appropriate action; works closely with the development group to resolve defects; makes recommendations to release the code to Production.
• Writes QAT test documentation (strategies, test cases, results and exit reports).
• Forecasts workday estimates for projects and business as usual activities.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• Minimum working experience of 5+ years as QAT.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HR/HCM are required.
• 5+ years of exp with Canadian Payroll year-end activities with wage and hour payroll practices is a must. Experience in various SAP Canadian payroll Infotypes in PA30, personnel actions using PA40 and payroll process
• Strong experience working with integration functionality between Payroll and Finance postings is required.
• 5+ years of Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation such as test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test result reports.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required. (VLOOKUP, pivots, databases)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience in SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.
• Sound knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery framework.
• Excellent knowledge of testing standards and methodologies.
• Intermediate SQL (Structured Query Language) skills
• Working knowledge of Jira

Education:

• Bachelors degree in related filed
• SAP Payroll certification and SAP EC Certified is highly preferred

Best VS. Average Candidate:

• The ideal candidate must have very strong experience with SAP Canadian Payroll and Strong knowledge of testing standards & methodologies.

Candidate Review & Selection:

• 2 rounds of interview – MS Teams Video: 1st round: MS Team video interview with HM and panel of 4-5 team members. This will be a Technical and behavioral interview based on previous experience with SAP Payroll
• 2nd round: MS Teams Video interview Director and HM. This will be Situational and cultural-fit interview
