ITW (Zip-Pak division) seeks a QA/QC Technician to support quality control across production and laboratory testing in the Chicagoland area. You will ensure GMP compliance, document non-conformances, and assist with hold/release decisions while collaborating with production and quality teams.

This position supports Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Shipping and Receiving as well as Commercial Sales and Field Service teams.
The position will assist in maintaining quality measures, standards, processes, and procedures relating to business needs.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand Extrusion technical procedures, or food safety regulations. Ability to write reports, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Managers, Sales, Operations, Engineering.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and basic math to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Navigation Abilities, and Microsoft office.

The hourly range for a QA/QC Technician is $21.00 to $24.00. The pay rate for a successful candidate will depend on the geographic location, this pay range is for a successful candidate in the Chicagoland area. The specific hiring rate within the posted range will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
