Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements definition, acquisition, testing, configuration and implementation of LIMS.
• Experience in business analysis and process improvement using analytics, process mapping and analysis to drive change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Understanding of chemical laboratory operations and QA end-to-end supply chain.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support, troubleshoot and maintain LIMS and department application systems, programs and procedures.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating project plans for technology initiatives, including business case definition and writing.
• Develop detailed systems test plans, participate in testing including user acceptance testing; analyze test results to ensure the solution meets business needs.
• Map and document business processes.
• Define, analyze, review, document and communicate functional requirements specific to Quality Assurance needs to support business processes.
• Develop, configure, maintain and upgrade departmental performance monitoring tools.
• Provide specialized data analysis, develop reports that support Quality Assurance functions, make data-driven recommendations for process optimization.
• Provide technical and analytical advice to management; mentor staff; transfer knowledge to resolve program issues.
• Prepare user manuals, technical documentation and user training for existing and new applications, procedures and processes.
