Job summary

Sunpan Trading & Importing Inc. seeks a Quality Control Coordinator to support Sunpan's quality assurance initiatives and ensure products meet company quality and compliance standards.

You will review inspection reports in Qarma, coordinate first production inspections, conduct incoming inspections, and communicate issues to factories and internal stakeholders. 1–3 years of QC experience in manufacturing, furniture industry preferred, SAP and Qarma knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Furniture industry experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of testing standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Review inspection reports in the Qarma application to confirm products meet Sunpan's quality and compliance requirements prior to shipment.
  • Coordinate first production inspections by working with the warehouse team to stage and assemble parts as required.
  • Conduct incoming inspections of first production parts and document findings in Qarma.
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns promptly to factories and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform initial claims investigations by inspecting stock and collaborating with the Houston team to identify root causes.
  • Work closely with internal teams and global suppliers to implement timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the quarantine of defective products when required.
  • Verify product conformance following corrective actions.
  • Review structural testing and compliance reports for furniture products as required.
  • Collaborate with Qarma to enhance the system in response to evolving business and factory needs.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and recommend process enhancements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Job Summary:
