We seek an enthusiastic Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join the Autodesk flow team. Autodesk Flow will connect people, workflows, and data across the media and entertainment production pipeline for faster content creation in the cloud.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with an experienced team of colleagues to develop and execute product tests. Testing will be used to inform development and design activities, ensuring we are developing high-quality solutions that will delight our customers. Candidates should be passionate about developing applications for visual effects and games, be detail-oriented, be curious to understand complex applications from different viewpoints, and have the ability to clearly communicate in English on technical issues.

Responsibilities
Analyze new feature specifications to create test cases or to supplement/improve existing tests
Test product workflows to discover defects in product features
Reproduce, isolate and confirm reported defects
Work with software developers and other stakeholders to prioritize and fix issues
Validate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardware
Log defects for tracking and reporting
Actively participate in team meetings throughout the development life cycle
Simulate production testing scenarios
Contribute to the development of automated tests
Participate in various product release activities
Minimum Qualifications
3 to 8 years’ experience using product such as Maya, 3ds Max or other 3D packages, in production
Clear verbal and written English communication skills
Experience working on Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well in a cross-functional team environment
Keen eye for detail, meticulous and analytically minded
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Analytical advisor role that requires understanding of the theories and concepts of a discipline and the ability to apply best practices
A common career stabilization point (AKA the “full-contributor” level) for Professional roles
Require knowledge and experience such that the incumbent can understand the full range of relevant principles, practices, and practical applications within their discipline
Solve complex problems of diverse scope by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situations
Use data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action
Apply creativity in recommending variations in approach
“Connect the dots” of assignments to the bigger picture
May lead projects or key elements within a broader project
May also have accountability for leading and improving on-going processes
Build effective relationships with more senior practitioners and peers, and build a network of external peers
Work independently, with close guidance given at critical points
May begin to act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Desktop products
Experience with web and cloud applications
Experience with computer programming or scripting (Mel, Python, C++)
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle
Familiarity with agile software development practices
Experience in quality assurance
