Job summary

Flair Airlines Ltd. is seeking a QA Analyst to design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify defects, and ensure high-quality applications across web and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, DevOps, and stakeholders to validate features and maintain quality throughout the lifecycle. The role requires 3+ years in QA, experience with Selenium/Cypress/Appium, and proficient use of Jira and TestRail, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience with database and API testing using SQL, Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.

  • Communicate test progress, results, and risks effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Monitor software performance and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Analyze customer feedback and production issues to identify areas for quality enhancement.

Your Team:

Join the Digital - Engineering Team at Flair as a QA Analyst, where quality, collaboration, and technology come together to deliver reliable solutions that support both our customers and our business. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting software defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. In this role, you will test and validate new features to ensure they meet business requirements and provide a seamless user experience. Working closely with developers, Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, DevOps, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to improving software quality throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and collaborative QA professional who enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality digital experiences.


This is a full-time, on-site position that can be based at any of our Edmonton (YEG), Calgary (YYC), Vancouver (YVR), or Toronto (YYZ) offices.


A Day in the Life:

As a QA Analyst, you will:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.



  • Experience:

  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.



  • Requirements:

    • Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.

    • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
