Job summary

Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing & Material Administrator to support the Simulation Product Group in procuring parts and managing inventory for state‑of‑the‑art simulators.

You will create RFQs and POs, liaise with suppliers, inspect parts, and oversee the inventory cage to ensure backlogs are covered and deliveries stay on schedule, contributing to smooth production and timely project fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in a related field with education/experience mix.
• Minimum 1 year experience in purchasing, inventory management, logistics or related admin role.
• Experience with an ERP system is an asset.
• Inventory control and procurement process experience are assets.
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with suppliers during quoting, purchasing and fulfillment.
• Receiving and inspecting parts using corporate software.
• Managing inventory cage and shelves.
• Managing general stock items to meet back-log and front-log requirements.
• Picking parts for assembly and integration teams.
• Coordinating all shipping (inbound/outbound) for the product group.
• Processing invoices and expense reports related to procurements.
• Performing monthly inventory and open PO checks.
• Participating in weekly team planning meetings.

The Purchasing & Material Administrator is responsible for the purchasing of parts and general materiel/inventory management for the Simulation Product Group. In this role, you will be supporting a growing team to build state-of-the-art aircraft and vehicle simulators. This position reports to the Director, Manufacturing & Assembly.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing, inventory management, logistics, manufacturing, or a related administrative role.
• Experience using an ERP system is an asset.
• Experience with inventory control and procurement processes is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance

Responsibilities
