Overview

Our client, a manufacturer / distributor, is seeking a Purchasing Manager. In this role, you will oversee the entire Supply Chain process, including sourcing and managing suppliers in Asia, ensuring quality standards, and timely delivery of materials and products. You will manage inventory to meet production needs without overstocking, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements. Your leadership will guide a team of Buyers, working collaboratively with departments like Production, Warehousing, and Sales to ensure smooth operations. As a small business, flexibility and handling multiple responsibilities are expected.

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years of Purchasing or Supply Chain experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience sourcing from Asia
• Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain processes including sourcing, inventory management, logistics, and warehousing
• Strong stakeholder influence, relationship-building, and accountability skills
