We're Hiring: Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

We’re looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to help keep our supply chain running smoothly. This is a critical role for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview

As the Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the flow of materials into our facility, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting day-to-day purchasing activities. You’ll work closely with our Production, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure we have the right ingredients and packaging at the right time—without overstock or waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders for ingredients, packaging, and other materials
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely reorders to maintain production readiness
• Track deliveries and work with vendors to ensure on-time performance and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support monthly inventory counts
• Collaborate with Production and Warehouse teams to align inventory with daily and weekly production needs
• Review usage trends, lead times, and vendor performance to improve purchasing efficiency
• Help identify opportunities for cost savings or improved supplier terms
• Support compliance with food safety and quality requirements for raw material sourcing
• Assist with reporting and documentation for audits, traceability, and forecasting
• Supporting sales team
• Ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain coordination (food manufacturing preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (SPIRE is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general reporting
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with suppliers and internal teams
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Familiarity with food safety requirements, traceability, and vendor documentation is an asset
