Halton Healthcare seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to streamline procurement processes within the Clinical Nutrition and Food Services departments. This onsite role at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital includes managing inventory and collaborating with teams to ensure operational efficiency. Candidates should possess a Food & Nutrition Management Diploma, relevant certifications, and experience in a healthcare environment. Strong organizational and communication skills are crucial.
As a member of the Support Services team, you will facilitate the efficient procurement process for food and supply orders for the Clinical Nutrition & Food Services departments and Environmental Services departments at all sites. You will work with the Managers at each site to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained and available. The Purchasing Coordinator will collaborate with key manufacturer and distributor partners and internal Finance teams to ensure procurement processes are followed. You will also manage the Computrition database related to inventory management, food order management, and recipe and menu management.

This role is onsite at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) with expected travel to Georgetown and Milton Hospitals.
Hours : Monday to Friday, 7.5-hour days (hours may vary based on operational needs)
Salary : $32.70 to $40.92 per hour
