Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to support Canadian and U.S. stores and Head Office in contract negotiations and supplier follow-ups. The role focuses on delivering high service levels and operational support.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, explore new suppliers, and oversee store requests, inventories, and supplier communications to improve procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • SharePoint knowledge is nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and follow up on supply purchasing contracts, including national agreements and terms.
  • Coordinate store and Head Office supply requests with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support U.S. stores with procurement needs and follow-ups.
  • Review products and solutions to meet store and head office needs.
  • Identify new suppliers in Canada or internationally for opportunities.
  • Monitor supply inventories according to schedules.
  • Manage service contracts deadlines, renewals, and communications.
  • Improve processes for store requests and store operations.
  • Enter data and track returns, warranties, or issues with items shipped to stores.
  • Maintain proactive communication with stores and internal teams.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director, Procurement - Goods and Services, the incumbent supports the procurement needs of Canadian and U.S. stores, as well as the Head Office, by contributing to contract negotiations and supplier follow-ups based on operational needs, while ensuring a high level of service to stores and Head Office teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and provide administrative follow-up on supply purchasing contracts, including national agreements, purchasing terms and conditions, deadlines, and supplier communications.
  • Follow up on supply requests from stores and Head Office, including special, urgent, or non-standard requests, by coordinating the necessary actions with suppliers, the Distribution Centre, and internal departments.
  • Support U.S. stores with their procurement needs and specific operational follow-ups.
  • Review products, services, and solutions to ensure they meet the operational needs of stores, Head Office, and internal partners.
  • Research and identify new suppliers, in Canada or internationally, based on operational needs, procurement challenges, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in the monitoring of supply inventories according to established schedules.
  • Negotiate and provide administrative follow-up on assigned service contracts, including deadlines, renewals, and supplier communications.
  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of processes related to store requests, supplies, and operational follow-ups.
  • Perform data entry and follow up on returns, warranties, or issues related to specific items shipped to stores.
  • Maintain proactive communication and provide excellent service to stores and internal teams.
  • Perform any other related duties as required by the department.

Requirements
  • High school diploma;
