Job summary

Huron Perth Public Health in Clinton is seeking a temporary part-time Public Health Nurse to join the Sexual Health and Harm Reduction team.

The role totals 56 hours over a 2-week pay period and runs from November 16, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with work primarily at the Clinton office.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Proficient computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet usage.
• Experience working with Databases (iPHIS, Accuro/EMR, CCM).
• Case and contact management experience.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Sexual Health/Harm Reduction team.
• Based at Clinton office; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm; Monday to Friday (flexible may include evenings and weekends).
• Temporary 0.8 FTE position with 56 hours over a 2-week pay period, from Nov 16, 2026 to Jun 30, 2027.

Summary:

We have an existing vacancy for a temporary part-time, 56 hours over a 2 week pay period (0.8 FTE) PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE starting on November 16, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027. This position will work as a part of the Sexual Health/Harm Reduction team. The position will be based from our Clinton office.
