Job summary

The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage billing, invoicing and receivables in support of the organization’s financial operations.

The role ensures accurate invoicing to patients, insurers and third parties, maintains revenue records and prepares reports, while performing general finance duties in a public service environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting Certificate or Business Administration Diploma from a recognized educational institution, combined with two years of related experience.
• 5 years of related experience, preferably in a public service environment.
• Equivalent combinations of educational qualifications and experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Responsibilities

• Processes billing activities and creates invoices for services rendered to individuals, insurers and other third parties.
• Records revenue, maintains accurate records and prepares reports.
• Performs general finance duties as required.
